I just now noticed that the past 3 episodes have begun with the word "The." Fun little tidbit, probably a lack of creativity on my part. No matter. I start the review off with The Interview, followed by Unbroken, and finishing off the section is The Theory of Everything. After all of that is the Box Office Report(s) and a relatively short news section to round out the show. Enjoy!

It's the defining chapter! I still think that title would belong with The Two Towers but that is up for debate. It is in fact our final journey to Middle-Earth, at least for right now. So I start things off with my review of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies followed by the Box Office Report and the news. But make sure to stay after as I review The Grand Budapest Hotel. Which might I add is a fantastic piece of film. And lastly for the closing comments I talk a little bit about Star Driver. Enjoy the show!

I may or may not be using different variations of "The Force Awakens" until I feel like I beat that saying to death. Why? Gives me an excuse to not have to combine titles or come up with a witty title. Nonetheless I start things off with my review of Horrible Bosses 2. Following that up is the Trailer Spot with Star Wars: The Force Awakens (thus the title), Jurassic World, and Terminator Genysis. After that is the Box Office Report and the news! Well I start things off with my review of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, following that is the Box Office Report and lastly the news. Enjoy the show! Sorry for not bs'ing for the beginning it's just a little late so I'm feel a tad lazy, and that's saying something since all I am doing is sitting in front of a computer.

For this spectacular round of anime filled goodness I bring three reviews! I start things off with a delayed review of Dragonball Z: Battle of Gods. That one was surprisingly hard to review in retrospect. Next is Bayonetta: Bloody Fate, in a nutshell this is a condensed anime version of the first game. But if you are interested in the second game but don't want to play the first this movie is a great alternative. And lastly is my review of Fate/Zero, the prequel to Fate/Stay Night. If you are wondering at all about my thoughts on Fate/Stay Night I will refer you to Minisode 31. Nonetheless you can walk into Fate/Zero without any knowledge and still really enjoy this one. It's a great show, I highly recommend all of you see this one before it gets pulled from Netflix. Enjoy the show!

For those that can't see the subtitle a big aspect of season 2 for Psycho-Pass is what color is your hue/psycho-pass? As I briefly mentioned in Minisode 43 the color scheme was never clearly defined in season 1 and after watching the first 6 episodes of this season it's honestly still a bit murky. Despite that being a focal point it's not to my detriment that I don't understand that as a viewer. Walking in there are spoilers for each and every episode as I go into far more detail than usual. So please watch the first season and perhaps even part of the second before deciding to listen. Otherwise if you don't really care just sit back and enjoy the show!

You may notice that I chose The Equalizer Poster over Gone Girl, that was not made in error. The Gone Girl poster didn't entice me and I thought that I could advertise both movies that I review this week in one fell swoop. I have returned from yet another short sabbatical to bring you a better-late-than-never review of The Maze Runner, followed by the Box Office Report. The Trailer Spot this week is Taken 3 (aka Tak3n) and the news is incredibly long this week just due to the fact that I was behind a week to begin with plus taking a week off didn't do me any favors. But after the news I review Divergent, a movie I probably should have reviewed when it came out. Enjoy the show!

I feel like sometimes the fates don't want the current show that I had recorded to come out. While I won't bore you with details this took far longer than it should have, but it's done and ready for your listening pleasure. So the start off the show I review Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, a surprisingly decent spy movie. After that is the Box Office Report, and the Trailer Spot this week is The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1...kind of a long title huh? Perhaps had they stuck with just Mockingjay they would not have had this problem. My my are you all in for one heck of an episode this week. I'm sorry it took a little longer than I wanted to release but work was priorty one this week so this had to take the backseat for a couple extra days, until now! This week Chris comes back and I start things off with a review of Sin City followed up by Chris with his review of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Did we like thems, you'll just have to tune in to find out. After that is the Box Office Report, for one of the worst weekends in box office history. And to highlight this episode is what I like to call our centerpiece of the show where Chris and I talk about this summer in the box office; it's ups and downs what movies were good what movies were bad, etc. We cover a variety of topics and still only scratched the surface but nonetheless was still a very fun experience. Lastly is the Closing Comments as Chris talks about things like Buffy or Doctor Who just to name a couple things. And I talk about comic books and week 1 of football. Enjoy the show!

If any of you can see the subtitle the reason I have it as such is because I kind of wondered why the main character of this weeks' movie is called "The November Man." And when you find out you could go through many emotions but joy isn't going to be one of them with that revelation. Also I meant to say this in the review as well but Devereaux is the complete opposite of James Bond. He is a very blunt and sometimes mean/scary kind of spy. Anyways aside from that review I talk the Labor Day Box Office Report and the news. Enjoy the show!

This week I brought along all of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, don't fret though I've learned my lesson on reviews from Episode 250 so after I review the brand new version of TMNT I just basically give my scores on the previous movies plus the animated feature film. Sorry for the delay, but on the plus side it's a shorter episode this round. If it wasn't one thing it was another that kept on deterring me from completing this on time. I really do believe that this may very well be the longest solo show I have done on the podcast. But when you really consider the typical length of the usual episodes this is really just doubled. I want there to be a witty opening to the description but frankly I got nothing. So anyways I start things off with my review of Transformers: Age of Extinction followed by a little unknown movie called Snowpiercer. (Which did open in theaters this week.) Following that is the Box Office Report and then the Trailer Spot this week is the new trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In retrospect I thought that this particular minisode would be all over the place, it turned out to be pretty straight line. I start things off with an anime review featuring Guilty Crown. It's a decent show but with character flaws and an odd divide between the "seasons" it avoids being a great series. Following that is a track-by-track analysis of Linkin Park's new album "The Hunting Party." As I mentioned in the review itself I'm a big fan of Linkin Park so perhaps my view is a little skewed and then I delve a little further into my random thoughts concerning their previous works. Well one more time travel story to be told, and perhaps we will let that rest for a bit, not that I'm speaking poorly about said time travel story for this round but we have had a lot recently. So yeah the opening/closing song is the explicit version for anyone that wants to know, maybe I should've thought that one through before hand. Sorry for the slight delay, after I started editing I realized I forgot to review The Wolf of Wall Street at the end. My computer is slowly dying out on me so it may be time to invest in a new one but in the mean time with this one some technological hiccups are bound to happen. Nonetheless I start the show off with my take on The Amazing Spider-Man 2, as the episode title would suggest. After that I take on the Box Office Report and the news. As with the Sword Art Online minisode this is a very in depth review of the Production I.G. show, Psycho-Pass. As I mention at the beginning of the show if you have seen the movie Minority Report, you are on the right track. But if you are wanting an anime equivilent I would say Ghost in the Shell is probably a close relative. Nonetheless I don't know what else to exactly say about the show so if you are interested at all be aware that I mention the first 8 episodes at length so please enter at your own discretion. For anyone that has never listened to the convention reports need not fear. I know the word "anime" scares Chris but I urge those that may be interested to keep on reading. This episode, if you want to call it that, is just a retrospective on what I did during my time at Anime Detour 2014. The standard procedure is I start with Friday, then Saturday, and Sunday. After all of that I cover things like Artist Alley and the Dealers Room. It's merely a hodge podge but a fun one at that and I hope you all enjoy it! At times while I was editing this I wondered if I have used this title before, and I want to say I haven't. If I have perhaps I will officially change it, but until then it stays! Perhaps you are wondering what movie or movies I am reviewing this week? Well I did bring one along and that is Captain Phillips, I've been wanting to see all of the nominees and I really regret not seeing this sooner. I don't go into detail and try to be as vague as possible but for those that are just saying," Lalalala!" it's near the end but I really don't think anything I say will ruin. So this was an episode I so should've done ages at least a couple weeks ago. Nonetheless as I say," Better late than never." So for this week I review 12 Years a Slave and Read or Die (OVA). Does 12 Years hold it up to its Best Picture status? You'll have to listen to find out. As for Read or Die that requires a little research on your end but nonethless if you happen upon it you should definitely give it a watch. Afterwards I talk about the Box Office Report and the news. So on to the show. I review I, Frankenstein and following that Porco Rosso. One good movie, one bad movie time to figure out which it is! Surprise it's not a show about anime for once! And also Chris has come back from his hiatus to help out! If you can't tell I'm excited for a multitude of reasons. One being that considering the size of this show there will be two more corresponding Minisodes coming eventually covering the other seasons. Another reason is that it was just plain fun to be able to discuss the many many random things about Game of Thrones. Some not even affiliated with Season 1. We derail from the topic way too easy which I think makes for a more unique show. I know the length may be a bit tough to swallow but just enjoy it at your own pace and don't forget to enjoy the show! And lastly there is going to be many many ***SPOILERS*** so don't say we didn't warn ya.

Well I want to be brief you all can chalk it up to laziness. So for this week I review two movies that pretty much take place in some capacity in the 70's. The first movie I tackled was American Hustle and following that is Zodiac (2007), both are good movies but I believe the latter is superior.
