Episode 184: An Unexpected Journey

There are moments in our lives where we need to have a leap of faith, to go on that adventure that you usually wouldn't have. The Hobbit is a great example of adventure and action. While I haven't read the book I can say that the story is universally told in many other forms. But c'mon man those of us that loved LOTR should be seeing this movie immediately. I actually thought about reviewing The Lord of the Rings but I felt like it deserves more than what I recall from memory. After that I do the Box Office Report, however it was just estimates. For the Trailer Spot I cover the teaser trailer for Star Trek into Darkness since the full version hadn't come out until after I had recorded. And lastly is the news. Enjoy the show!

Episode 183: NeverMore

Before I get any emails the song starts out intentionally like it does, you can't really understand what Mike is rapping aboot. I really had to stretch to find something for this episode for a song originally I was going to pick the ending song from the Raven however I couldn't download it. Well nonetheless I managed to watch The Raven, which is a decent movie if a little inappropriate during the holidays. And speaking of holidays I talk a little bit about Home Alone 2 which I apparently haven't reviewed before. After that I talk about the insanely weak Box Office Report, trust me it was weak even if I'm happy about the winner. And lastly is the news. Enjoy the show!

Minisode 35: The Hell Verse

So it's been a little while, and I'm bringing with me a handful of reviews. Starting things off I review Bleach: Hell Verse, if you haven't watched any Bleach this might be over your head. Which sadly I didn't even consider until after I recorded. After that is Tenchi Universe, a great harem/action/comedy series. And I bring a video game along for the ride as I try to review Halo 4. And lastly I talk a little bit about Robotics;Notes since it's been out for a couple months. Enjoy the show!

Episode 182: The Raid

I would love to say that the movie I review this week is about the misadventures of a couple teenagers and their abuse of cans of Raid, granted I could see myself getting sued by the makers of Raid so yeah don't use Raid unless it's to kill bugs cuz bugs suck and deserve harsh and just punishment. So for this episode I review The Raid: Redemption it's an import from Indonesia and yeah it's not a bad film. Action fans will probably dig this. Afterwards is the Box Office Report x 2, since I was a couple weeks behind. And lastly is the news! Enjoy the show!

Episode 181: As the Dawn Breaks

When I was watching Breaking Dawn Part 2 all I could think was man for a chick flick there's a lot of people getting their heads torn off. And if you think I'm kidding just ask someone who has watched it. So as it's been a little while since I have reviewed stuff I start things off with Breaking Dawn Part 2, then I review Lincoln, and lastly I review Flight. Following that is the Box Office Report. And for the Trailer Spot is Now You See Me, it's a magic/heist movie. Seemed interesting so that's why I chose it. And of course lastly is the news. Enjoy the show!

Episode 180: Skyfall

People seem to really like the titular song for Skyfall, I'm not one of them thus why I made the choice to have an epic song played instead. I had this thought and I will share it with you as well. Has anyone else thought that the Bond girls in all of these movies are essentially red shirts? As in the red shirts from the original Star Trek series. Once they sleep with James it's like what 10 minutes of screen time and they die? I know I'm not the first nor the last to say it but I wanted to prompt that thought for everyone reading this. So anyways I obviously am reviewing Skyfall, then there is the Box Office Report, and lastly is the news. It's not action packed like I wanted but I come at it with the same willingness since the beginning. Enjoy the show!

Episode 179: Wreck-It Ralph

So I went to the midnight release for Halo 4 the other night, man it was amazing. It had a pretty good crowd, half bought the regular edition and the other half (myself included) bought the limited edition. Only time will tell if it was a good investment, so far the game definitely feels like the past Halo's. Well in the meantime I present you all four reviews, starting with Wreck-It Ralph, then comes Cloud Atlas and for considerably faster reviews is Paranormal Activity 3 and Team America: World Police. After that is the Box Office Report and as always the news. For my closing comments I talked about Forward Unto Dawn, the production values are pretty decent and the story was decent too. I wouldn't mind seeing more series like this one. Well that's all for the episode so please enjoy!

Episode 178: Each Passing Second

I wish I could tell you where I came up with that title, but by the time I would have needed to recall it when I recorded I would've forgot. I want to say that it came from something in Steins;Gate but I can't say for sure. So for this episode I review Argo since it was the winner this week for the Box Office. Speaking of the Box Office I report on the past weekend and mention how awesome Skyfall is doing overseas where people get to see it well before the North American audiences, I still think we are getting screwed on that. For the Trailer Spot I finally cover the Iron Man 3 teaser. And of course there is the news. Lastly my closing comment is on the Halo 4 soundtrack hopefully people understand what I was trying to convey. Well enjoy the show!

Episode 177: For Lack of Trying

This is the counterprogramming for the debate, of course by the time I release this the debate will be done and over and people will say who won and who lost. Fact checking will be involved, thankfully no one wastes their time doing that for me. However I think it would be fun to see that once just to see how bad I screw up during an episode. I did change the format for this episode since I did another two week hiatus so I start things off with the news. And as anyone who listens to this episode will notice I got duped into thinking the Iron Man 3 trailer came out last week. In actuality it was the teaser for the teaser trailer so yeah the Trailer Spot took like 15 seconds so thus I didn't do anything for it once I found out I screwed up. Following that is the Box Office Report as I talk the past two weeks winners. And lastly I review the movie Anonymous, it's about William Shakespeare so that's what caught my attention. And I do a speed review for Sweeney Todd since we are in the month of October and Halloween is almost around the corner. And don't forget the Closing Comments, enjoy the show!

Minisode 34: Hacking to the Steins;Gate

If you had the ability to send a text into the past, whether it is to yester-you or last week, what would you send? Would you consider the affects that you would make to the past and the present because you made a mistake with someone of the opposite sex or something as simple as doing the answers to a test? While Steins;Gate doesn't entirely cover those questions it does cover the affects of time travel wrapped in very colorful characters. As for my second show that I review I tackle the futuristic (maybe) show called Ergo Proxy. It was written by the same guy that did Eureka Seven so I had semi-high hopes for this one. While I wasn't disappointed it leaves a lot to be desired after 4 episodes. Enjoy the show!

Episode 176: Taken 2 - Electric Boogaloo

If you are wondering why I named this episode with the subtitle "Electric Boogaloo" I saw this on forums and comments so it only felt appropriate to add. If anyone is wondering which movie that came from look up Breakin' 2 trust me it will pop up. So hopefully people can forgive me for only reviewing Taken 2 this week. It's a decent enough movie but doesn't have the magic of the first movie. After that I talk the Box Office Report. The Trailer Spot this week is The Man with the Iron Fists, I picked this movie strictly because it's coming out within the month. And lastly is the news which surprisingly took a while to get through. But before the show is over I decide to talk about how it's not all that tough to consider a sequel for Taken 2 and my reasons behind it. Well that's the show in a nutshell, enjoy!

Episode 175: Looper

Time travel aspects aside I really think that Looper is going to be one of the movies that critics love, and the audiences not so much in the liking of the movie. I can just see that, if I'm wrong I'm wrong but I didn't understand the appeal after watching Looper. Well for this episode I'm going to be review Looper, The Cabin in the Woods, and A Knight's Tale. After that we do our normal things with the Box Office Report; and as for the Trailer Spot this week I found the teaser trailer for The Lone Ranger. And lastly there is the news. My Closing Comments involve some music as I talk about As I Lay Dying's new album Awakened. Enjoy the show!

Episode 174: End of Dredd

The way I saw things having a pronoun for a title, i.e. Dredd, was going to work in my favor this week since I could watch a movie like The Cabin in the Woods and change it to Dredd in the Woods or The Cabin in the Dredd. Well getting back to the episode I decided to revie,w End of Watch, which is actually pretty good. And Dredd, which I didn't watch in 3D but actually is a good movie but it's a little light on the story but the action makes up for it. As is usual I cover the Box Office Report, and the Trailer Spot this week is Paranormal Activity 4. I wasn't too impressed since it looks like more of the same but if that's what brings people in they clearly aren't catering to me. Lastly there is the news and my Closing Comments are about Steins;Gate and the replacement refs not at the same time but one after the other. Enjoy the show!

Episode 173: Half Realized Retribution

For this week I review Resident Evil: Retribution which surprisingly wasn't as bad as I expected but it's not the best film in the series either. Then I quickly review Finding Nemo, which really doesn't need an explanation. Following that is the Box Office Report(s) and the Trailer Spot featuring Steven Spielberg's Lincoln. And lastly is not one by two weeks worth of news. I'm starting to think that I should record just to get it out of the way. Well anyways enjoy the show!

A different title that I was considering for this show was "Two Star Crossed Lovers" but unless I went deeper into RahXephon I don't think too many people were going to understand the meaning or think that I was reviewing Romeo X Juliet. So for reviews this week it is RahXephon and Yumeria. RahXephon is technically a mecha series but the mechas are closer to golems than machines. It's the story of a boy whose life gets turned upside down when his city is being destroyed being one of the golems. Yumeria is a harem/sentai/magical girl hybrid, the main character is often referred to as a pervert but he's 16 so I didn't consider him a pervert as much as the girls in the show wanted to call him that. It has elements of action but that really isn't the main focus of the show. And before I really finish things off I also give an update for Deadman Wonderland. Enjoy the show!

Episode 172: The Secret World of Lawless

The title actually kinda works in multiple ways since the whole bootlegging business was very underground. Or at least underground enough to not get in trouble with those officers of the law. So to start things off this Labor Day I review Lawless, it works on a fair amount of levels but drops the ball on some others. After that I review the Studio Ghibli film, The Secret World of Arrietty. The story is simple but the animation is superb as is expected. Following suit is the Box Office Report and the news. Enjoy the show!

Episode 171: Premium Rush

So I decided to watch a movie with Joseph Gordon-Levitt where he is a bike courier. The idea seemed incredibly silly especially with its advertisments. But actually this movie turned out pretty well, it's not the best movie of the summer but it will be considered one of those films that more people should have watched. Alas that's the only movie I decided to see this round so after my review of Premium Rush I wander into the Box Office Report. After that I decided to cover the Trailer Spot with Lawless, I think those 20's period pieces always catch my attention. And lastly there is the news. Enjoy the show!

Episode 170: Deep Labored Breathing

There is a good explanation for the title and I believe I explain it pretty well. So for this episode I decide to review The Bourne Legacy and ParaNorman. After that is the Box Office Report from last weekend since this weekend didn't come out at the time of recording. The Trailer Spot this week is Liberal Arts, it's a movie written and directed by Josh Radnor. Lastly is the news and the Closing Comments. Enjoy the show!

Episode 169: The Expendables 2

It's the Expendables! But Twice! After a couple weeks of being away from this game called podcasting I have returned with a handful of movies. For reviews this week I cover The Expendables 2, The Campaign, and the 2011 remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. After that I talk about the Box Office Report. The Trailer Spot this week is Skyfall, it's a better trailer than the first trailer which was essentially a teaser in the first place. And lastly I talk about some news. Well enjoy the show!

In this particular episode instead of the usual stuff I go on an adventure across the country as I search for the fabled Holy Grail. And if that wasn't enough before I actually search and/or find said Holy Grail I spend my time with a show that has nothing to really do with anything other than to give the original author more time to come up with new material. So what actually happens on this episode is the news, the Trailer Spot is The Campaign the movie that stars Will Ferrell. Don't forget the Box Office Report and for reviews this week I decided to try my hand with Samson vs. The Vampire Women and Star Force: Fugtive Alien II. I'll be honest I did a terrible job reviewing those two movies so for your enjoyment you all can watch me crash and burn as I attempt to review thems. Well enjoy the show!

Episode 167: Total Recall

If you were told you're whole life was fake how would you react? I'd probably freak out once the thought actually settled in. I just imagine Keanu Reeves saying,"Whoa." Anyways to correspond with my opening line I am reviewing Total Recall, that movie that's kind of sort of a remake of the 1990's version starring Arnold. However I haven't seen the original so I couldn't make an comparisons. And for a DVD review I decided to try and review a movie called Fugitive Alien. Long story short it's a TV show that was re-edited into a movie, listen to the episode for more details. After that I run through the Box Office Report, the Trailer Spot this week is Dredd; and I honestly don't know what to think about that movie yet. Lastly there is the news and for Closing Comments I talk about little bit about the Olympics. Enjoy the show!

Minisode 32: B Gata H Kei, Is it Really Yamada's First Time?!

While this minsode is admittedly short I review the one show I watched this month which is the romantic comedy, B Gata H Kei aka Yamada's First Time. Long story short the main character wants to have sex with 100 guys but plans that ambitious have a way of not turning out exactly as we plan. After the review I talk a little about Chrome Shelled Regios as well as more on Eureka Seven Ao. Lastly I talk a little bit of anime news over this weekends Otakon. Enjoy the show!

Episode 166: The Dark Knight Rises

Like our hero who had to wait 8 years to come out of retirement, I asked Chris to come out of his self imposed exile and help me out with this episode. The majority of this show is focused on The Dark Knight Rises, and honestly while we do go into detail for this movie; most of the information isn't anything the audience didn't know about before hand. After that we talk a little bit of Batman Begins since we never had officially reviewed the film. And as a DVD/Speed Review I review Flash Gordon, it's a very silly film. Following that is the Box Office Report(s), I start things off with the previous weekends' numbers and then Chris takes over this weekend. For the Trailer Spot this week we discuss The Man of Steel teaser. And we cover some news, but since my computer was low on battery we tried to run through it as quickly as possible. And lastly don't miss out on our closing comments! Enjoy the show!

Episode 165: Two Endings for the Price of One (Buy One, Get One Free)

This title is reference towards what happens in one of the movies that I review this week. For this week I review Savages, to be truthful this was my first Oliver Stone film. It had potential but falls flat in that it takes far too long to get to it's point. The second movie I review is Four Brothers, this movie came out in 2005 and to be frank was a great movie even looking back it is a good movie that holds up now. After that I do the Box Office Report which is behind but we should be caught up by next week. The Trailer Spot this week is The Bourne Legacy, I choose the second trailer since it's newer and less lame than the first trailer that came out for it. After that I ramble on with the news, and lastly for the Closing Comments talk about how I don't understand why people want to see Robin in The Dark Knight Rises. Enjoy the show!

Episode 164: The Amazing Spider-Man

Need a little red, white and blue, since it's the 4th of July here in the US I see plenty of it and you can get at least 2 out of those 3 colors with The Amazing Spider-Man. It's a solid reboot, covering many aspects of the very first movie. It's not my favorite but I still enjoyed this film through and through. After that I review Ted, I decided to carry this one over until Spider-Man arrived so I had at least a couple movies to review. And my last review for this week is The Grey, yes I finally got around to watching it. After that is the Box Office Report and following that is the news. Enjoy the show!

Episode 163: Abraham Lincoln the Brave

I'm back, but not in black. I'm in green and blue, I'm aware it clashes but when I'm in my bedroom anything goes. Well forgetting the odd introduction I start this paragraph off with I review Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. It's a decent film but the translation from the page to the screen doesn't go over as well. Following that I review Pixar's Brave, honestly it's the perfect mother/daughter movie. And lastly for DVD reviews I talk about Footloose from 1984. Well for the rest of the show is the Box Office Report, the Trailer Spot this week is Django Unchained...you know the new Quentin Tarantino movie, yeah that one. And the lengthiest part of the show (I think) is the news. But don't miss out on the Closing Comments where I talk about Linkin Park's new album that came out on Tuesday. Enjoy the show!

Minisode 31: A Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That

There was one thing I failed to mention with Fate/Stay Night other than the fact that the title has nothing to do with the series is that it has hints of being a harem anime. There are at least 3 girls thus far that are fighting for Shiro's attention, by episode 8. Well anyways for this minisode I review Trigun, Trigun: Badland's Rumble, Fate/Stay Night, and lastly Deadman Wonderland. It's an odd bunch however the timing worked well and I feel that most of these shows are at the very least notable if not more so. Enjoy the show!

Episode 162: Prometheus

To be frank, the opening song has nothing to do with the movies I discuss this week. So I kinda apologize because I just grabbed something, hopefully next week fares a little better. I actually wanted to grab the super short opening theme for Prometheus & Bob. It was a short animated segment on Kablam! This week I bring you a review for Prometheus as well as Aliens. I talk about the estimates for the Box Office Report, honestly this week turned out fairly well. The Trailer Spot this week is Magic Mike, it stars Channing Tatum as a male stripper...don't ask me why I picked it. Well actually I just picked it because it's coming out this month. I feel bad because it should've been Django Unchained but oh well. And lastly I talk some news and for Closing Comments I talk about Mass Effect 2 (again) and this years E3 and Halo 4. Enjoy the show!

Episode 161: Snow White and the Huntsman

Skin white as the snow, lips red as blood, hair black as night, go Snow White fight fight fight! Sounds like a chant I'd hear from a competitive cheer team during halftime of a high school football game. Thankfully I don't go to any more of those so I don't have to worry about that. So for this episode I start things off with my review of Snow White and the Huntsman. After that is the Box Office Report. Then the Trailer Spot this week is The Great Gatsby. To those that wish to know I have not read the book, it was not required reading in my classes. Maybe after the movie comes I'll decide if I'm missing out or not. And then I spout off some news here and there. Lastly I talk a little bit about Toonami and the new shows they premiered a couple weeks ago. Well that's all so enjoy the show!

Episode 160: Men in Black III

They go back...in time! I couldn't think of a better opener so that's what you get I guess for this week. So I reverse things back to normal for this episode but I may or may not change it right back next week. So I start things off with the news, I'll admit it's slightly lengthy but I knew that it was going to be that way coming in. And then the Trailer Spot this week is That's My Boy, starring Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg. Basic premise is that Adam Sandler's character has sex with his teacher and raises his kid while still being a teenager. Fast forward 30 years and hilarity ensues. After that is the Box Office Report. As for reviews I score all three of the MIB movies but only give a full review of MIB3. Lastly don't miss out on my closing comment about Paramount's move for GI Joe 2. Enjoy the show!

I hope this episode doesn't feel rushed, I wanted to release a couple episodes within the week instead of releasing one really long episode. That way I keep up with my schedule that I typically don't keep too well. So for this episode this week I review Battleship and Terminator 2. If you are wondering why I chose Terminator 2 I picked it completely by chance and no other reason beyond that. After that I cover the Box Office Report. The Trailer Spot this week is Skyfall...you know the new James Bond movie that's coming out in November. And lastly I cover the news, and I'm pretty sure I cut it short by accident which just means I'll have to be stingy with the news on Monday. Well I hope you enjoy the show!

Minisode 30: Eureka Seven- Lelouch of the Rebellion

It's the Johnny Young Bosch show! That is if you don't include my first impression of Eureka Seven Ao, because Renton hasn't popped up on that show yet. So for this overly long minisode (sorry my bad) I apparently choose two shows that needed a lot of explanation so I apologize for the length of the show but I believe this is up to par in terms of quality of the previous minisodes. Well I guess that is just my own opinion, anyways I review Eureka Seven, Eureka Seven: Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers, and Eureka Seven Ao. After those reviews I decided to also review Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. If you have not seen either of these shows I highly recommend picking one. If you are concerned with violence Code Geass tends to have more. But Eureka Seven also has it's graphic parts, one scene comes to mind when I mention that. Well that's all of the show in a nutshell hope you enjoy it!

Episode 158: Dark Shadows Loom Over the Avengers

I have returned from New York City, they clean up really good over there. Just little over a week after those aliens attacked, I figured more streets would be closed off due to all that destruction. So after taking a couple weeks off I watched the two newest releases that movie studios have to offer. I also messed with the format that I'm so many people have loved in the past, but if people don't like it then the next episode will revert back to the old way of things. So as I said on the episode there's plenty of news to be had. I discuss the new Dark Knight Rises trailer but don't officially review it. I also talk about the past couple weeks Box Office Reports. And I also review Dark Shadows as well as The Avengers. Enjoy the show!

Episode 157: The Five-Year Engagement

When I was typing down this title I was like man I've still got like a year and a half before I'd be at 5 years. Would anyone want to be engaged for 5 years? So for this episode it's the news, it's a hodgepodge. Not completely irrelevant, but not completely pointless either. The trailer spot this week is This is 40, the pseudo sequel to Knocked Up. And I apologize for that segment my mouse decided to stop working around that time so I was distracted while still trying to record. Then following that is the Box Office Report. And for reviews this week is The Five-Year Engagement and Friday Night Lights. The latter I choose strictly by chance and for no other reason. Well that's it for now so enjoy the show!

Episode 156: Don't Think I've Forgotten

No I was not lazy and did only a minisode this week, I recorded this little ditty yesterday and since I had released the minisode I wasn't as concerned about timing in terms of releasing said episode. It's a little short but I don't think that's too big of a problem. So there's little bits of news that may or may not be important to you. The Trailer Spot this week is The Five Year Engagement starring Jason Segal and Emily Blunt, pretty funny trailer...but it was the red band trailer too. Then I talk a little bit about the Box Office Report. And for reviews I decided to go with American Reunion and then traveled over to my bookcase and found a movie called 21. Lastly my closing comments section is about that one guy that is suing Assassins Creed. What I failed to mention is that I only ever played the first game so I think I'm fairly unbiased in terms of what's going on here. Well enjoy the show!

Minisode 29: It's Magic! You Know?

Did anyone notice what reference I threw in the title? It's like one of those things you say that has multiple meanings! Yeah I know I'm being stupid so anyways for this months minisode I present my reviews of Demon King Daimao. It's a magical harem series, that's about all it has going for it. Then comes The Familiar of Zero, a far superior magic series. Which while it has harem tendencies leans more towards Ah! My Goddess or Love Hina style of harem. By that I mean you know who they are ending up with and any other girl is really there to throw a monkey wrench. Black Butler is the next series that I cover, it's not a concise review since I feel it deserves a longer watch to come up with a conclusive score. And lastly I review Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos! I don't think I need to describe FMA, most people who care will listen and those who don't will probably not listen. Anyways that's the minisode in a nutshell so enjoy the show!

Opening Song- Melancholy (Sadly I don't know who did the song but it's in Japanese)

Episode 155: Hands Above the Covers

After a couple week hiatus I return triumphant, well maybe not triumphant but I returned. There was plenty of news to be had, and sadly like 4 minutes of that disappeared during the recording, not quite sure what happened. I think Audition decided to take a break after 25 minutes of recording. So after an overly long session of news we wonder into the Trailer Spot which features The Raven. Honestly I'm kinda excited for this one I think it will be a fun outing. Then I play some catch up with the Box Office Report. As for reviews this week I start it off with Lockout starring Guy Pearce and Maggie Grace. Lockout is that kind of action film you will enjoy watching but don't really feel a need to rewatch it afterwards. But let's say you caught it on TV you wouldn't be opposed to watching it on a Saturday afternoon. Then I finally review 21 Jump Street, I try to make it short but I think it still ended up being 5 minutes long. And to finish off my reviews I give a really short review of Titanic in relation to its 3D re-release. So yeah that's about it, hopefully you enjoy the show!

Episode 154: Wrath of the Titans

If anyone has watched Wrath of the Titans already, did anyone else catch the couple Star Wars lines that they stole? It was pretty obvious, especially the one between Hades and Zeus. I really wish I was more inventive so that I coule throw some sort of April Fools Day joke in the description but alas I'm not that creative or at least creative enough to try. I think the word for that is lazy but we'll have to ask the scientists on that one. So for this weeks episode I cover the news, except for anything covering today since I have to just wait any of the information out until tomorrow or beyond. The Trailer Spot this week is American Reunion, I believe it's an old trailer but nonetheless funny. I would've covered the Box Office Report but the information wasn't out yet so I just covered the top 3 movies for this weekend. And for reviews it's Wrath of the Titans, and The Rum Diary...it stars Johnny Depp! Well that's pretty much it for the episode I hope you enjoy it!

Episode 153: The Hunger Games

May the odds be ever in your favor...I think casinos should adopt this phrasing. Wouldn't that be something? Walk into a casino and they say that tagline, I would feel kinda legendary walking around there. Especially if I one the jackpot. But that's assuming I ever go to a place like Vegas or Deadwood. So I cover the news this week, honestly having listened to all of the stuff I said this round I was kind of impressed there was actually interesting news these past two weeks. The Trailer Spot this week is Prometheus, I checked and I have not done the previous trailer. People on IGN were freaking out about it so I figured it was worth a watch. Then there's the Box Office Report which covers this week as well as last week. And finally my review of The Hunger Games, hopefully you enjoy what I had to say and I hope you enjoy the show!

Minisode 28: Mass Effect 3

Instead of another set of movie reviews this week I decided to make things consistent and come out with something in it's stead. I have a couple video games to review this round as well as one anime. I start things off with Mass Effect 3, hopefully it's as spoiler free as I think it is but if anyone has problems with it you can send an email. I didn't address in detail the controversy with ME3's ending(s) I just discuss my interaction with them. Following ME3 is Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, a good game but I think it shows it's age just a little bit. Overall it has a fun story, but it has two failings that keep this title from being amazing. And lastly I try to talk about Ikki Tousen, but honestly I have little to no idea what it's about and that's after watching 6 episodes. So if it sounded disjointed that's because I was confused and lost. I doubt anyone will be surprised by the score.

Episode 152: John Carter

I've wondered why they dropped the "of Mars" part from the title, maybe in the 1920's or 30's the title would've been a little more polarizing but I think by the 60's people would've accepted the title with open arms. Whatever I'm not the one to make those decisions nor does it affect me in my duties to bring a really lazy news week. After we trudge through no new information the Trailer Spot this week is Men in Black 3, at this point I do not remember if I had reviewed the teaser or not and if I had just assume I upgraded or downgraded the score from the last time. Then there's a little segment called the Box Office Report. And for reviews this week I start things off with John Carter and then for my obscure title I review Case 39. Lastly for my closing comments I talk a little bit about my experience with Mass Effect 3. Enjoy the show!

Episode 151: Pretty Please with Sugar on Top?

It's been a little too long but after a couple weeks here we are. So there is 3 weeks of news as well as Box Office Reports to cover in this episode so that takes the brunt of the episode. The Trailer Spot this week is the teaser for Despicable Me 2 which is a fun little bit that I hope most people enjoy. Finally for reviews it's Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Braveheart. Lastly I talk about Mass Effect 3 a little for my closing comments. Enjoy the show!

Minisode 27: Castle and a Vampire

Well I was hoping to record a regular episode today with Chris however with the "storm" that we got it seemed unlikely that I would be able to record with him. So instead I decided to record this Minisode! Personally I think this is one of the best ones I've done by myself, anyone who cares can compare and send results. Well my first review is Castle in the Sky, Hayao Miyazaki's first animated feature film...I think. I'm glad I got to watch this now I just need to watch the rest of his films and I'm set. The second show that I review, as I was sorta secretive about, I'm not going to reveal the title and you'll just hafta listen to find out. Thirdly I review the video game Portal 2 by Valve. I find it funny that the only two puzzle games that I own are the only video games I've reviews for this show. However that should change next show. Lastly I talk about Bleach a little bit before I wrap things up. Enjoy the show!

So much to watch and so little time to want to watch them, well for this episode I bring the news which lasts a little longer than usual because I took last week off. The Trailer Spot this week is Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. I also cover last weeks Box Office Report. And for reviews I start things off with Safe House, then Ghost Rider 2, and finally review Star Wars Episode I. But lastly I discuss Futurama and it's Season 6 finale episode. Enjoy the Show!

Minisode 26: Angelic Tokyo Godfathers

For this minisode I start things off with the anime movie Tokyo Godfathers, it stars 3 homeless people as they discover a discarded baby and want to return it to their respective parents and along the way we find tidbits about our main characters as well. After that I review Angelic Layer, I only got to watch the first 4 episodes but that was more than enough to give a score as well as an idea what to expect throughout the series. Lastly I give a preview of Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, having only watched two episodes I feel comfortable saying that the animation will grab your attention from the get go. (And I didn't mention this in the show but the opening song for Gankutsuou is in my opinion really bad.) Enjoy the show!

Episode 149: Chronicle

What would you do if you had the power to move things with you mind, or had the ability to fly? Would you use them for good or for evil? I would probably try for good but who knows something could go south. Well anyways for this week I discuss the news, the Trailer Spot this week is the brand new Amazing Spider-Man trailer. Then I talk about the Box Office Report. For reviews this week I talk about The Woman in Black starring Daniel Radcliffe, it's a kinda sorta horror film. Following that is Chronicle the aforementioned superhero film that I've been interested in. Enjoy the show!

Episode 148: Red Tails on a Ledge

What do you think of the title? Meh? I thought it worked really well, I'm kind of glad I didn't see The Grey yet because it would've wrecked the title by a little bit. But that is just my opinion. Well for this episode I do the news, the Box Office Report, and for reviews I give you Red Tails! As well as Man on a Ledge! (Pause for applause to settle) But wait that's not it! I also review Casion Royale! (Imagining applause at it's peak) And to finish the episode off I talk about Archer Season 2. Enjoy the show!

Episode 147: Underworld- Awakening

I'm trying to think of something witty or at least far from relevant to start this thing off and I'm coming up with nothing...oh well. So you can look forward to some news, the Trailer Spot this week is Resident Evil: Retribution, it was a pretty ok trailer but I think Sony whored itself out during the first half of the trailer. Don't forget the Box Office Report! As for reviews I start things off with Underworld: Awakening and then I have a DVD review of Warrior. And lastly my closing comments again is about Mass Effect 2 because that's the only thing I've done besides work. Enjoy the show!

Episode 146: Love in the Time of Melancholia

Does anyone believe we'll have to wait until 2016 for an Avatar 2? I don't buy it but if you look at James Cameron's track record with sequels it's quite possible. Well for this episode it's strictly the news, the Box Office Report, and reviews. I'm reviewing Melancholia (starring Kirsten Dunst and Kiefer Sutherland) long story short it's about this planet that's coming towards Earth and what our main characters are doing slightly before and after it happens. And then I also review Beauty and the Beast, not much to say there except if you haven't watched it you really should. Well I can't think of anything else to pad the description so enjoy the show!

Episode 145: Happythankyoumoreplease

Before I get any emails (ha) about this odd title, honestly this how it's spelt on the poster and on IMDB. Also if any of you are wondering about the song this week, my brother requested this and I couldn't think of another song to use so this one won out. Well despite the facelift the Latino Review did for it's website it would appear that I can still use it as my source of information without too many problems so I talk the news. The Trailer Spot for this week is called Chronicle, in retrospect I don't know why it's called that maybe it should be called Andrew because he becomes the bad guy in the film. I fill in a small rant between the Trailer Spot and the Box Office Report, because I have to shake my head at all the horror buffs that decided that The Devil Inside was going to be a good movie...well anyways I do the Box Office Report after that. As for reviews I start things off with Paul (starring Nick Frost and Simon Pegg) and then Happythankyoumoreplease (starring Josh Radnor and Malin Akerman). Lastly I discuss a couple DLC packs I downloaded for Mass Effect 2, thus why the album art is Mass Effect this week. Enjoy the show!

Minisode 25: K-On! Sword of the Stranger

So this is what the first post of the new year is like? Yeah I meant to release this like 6 days ago, but laziness is as laziness does. So besides being lazy I set out to review two very different shows this month. The first show I review is Sword of the Stranger, while the story isn't exactly original it's what it does around the basic story that sets it apart, that and the violence when the swords clash and bows and arrows fly. The second show I review is K-On! which I've had for quite some time but never got around to it. Well this is a slice of life show with the basic premise that four girls are in a club which also includes being part of a band. All of the instruments in the show have real life counter parts so it's authentic to a certain degree. Both are very good shows and I hope if you care about anime you'll give these a shot. Enjoy the show!
