Then again I would need to be employed in a way where I get paid but don't actually do anything...ah my dream job. *Shakes head* But I digress I know The Girl on the Train was the big winner this weekend so it only felt appropriate to review it, hopefully you enjoy my take on it. I had the damnedest time finding a song for this round, there was one song from Sully but it was nothing noteworthy but if you look at the other movie I review I don't think there was a "soundtrack" to speak of. So yes this song was completely random and I wanted this released instead of looking through an infinite number of songs to find that right song for this show. I was going to post a rhetorical question but upon giving it a seconds worth of thought I realized that my logic was far from sound. So having said that I don't know what else I should do to fill in this space so that it looks like there is important stuff here. As you can see above I have two irrelevant reviews one more than the other. I'm trying to make a renewed effort to talk about some of the movies this fall in the Trailer Spot so that way maybe I'll find a hidden gem or two or at least something that looks halfway ok. Remember people feel free to ask for me to review something, this is a good time to do that. And as always enjoy the show!

Review: Florence Foster Jenkins

Opening and Closing Song: Adele's Laughing Song by Florence Foster Jenkins

Have you ever wanted to be a singer, to sing in front of people, without fear of being made fun of? But maybe your voice just wasn't up to snuff? Well the movie that I review is the story of Florence Foster Jenkins who is known for not being a particularly great singer. But her spirit and passion for music is what kept her going despite her blissful ignorance to her own singing voice. It's a good and somewhat good and sometimes sad story. As I said in my review this film is probably going to be big for an older crowd but if you appreciate movies outside of mainstream Hollywood this is actually a good option for you.

Have you ever had a dream and life just got in the way to make sure that didn't happen? Well here is the story of a man who defied the odds and made it to the Olympics back in 1988. The story of the Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards is an interesting one, as I mention in the show I believe that the movie is probably highly fictionalized but still an entertaining piece of movie. After my review of said movie I bring the Box Office Report and the news, mixed in with a Trailer Spot. Enjoy the show!

Are they the worst heroes ever? Well by all rights they weren't heroes to begin with, but I would say in recent memory the folks that made the lovely adaptation of Fantastic 4 probably deserve the award for worst heroes ever...at least for right now. The titular suicide squad are definitely bad guys that are brought in to do something good and that's about all you need to know. The plot is a tad muddled after the 30 minute introductions, so as the audience we understand what is supposed to happen but the movie realizes it is driving and decides to take a different route. That being said they have two parts that are meant to be shocking that come off as a big question mark since you don't understand why the characters are reacting that way. Otherwise it is a fun little film, not among my favorites but I would see it again.

An accountant and a CIA secret agent on the run. A man disillusioned by war and the effects thereof, begins to wage war on the very people he once fought with...Sounds kind of epic doesn't it. It helps when you only type in one line to sum up each movie. You might be asking why, and I can honestly say I don't know I just felt like doing that. Mostly to pad the description out until I felt there was enough there to stop. Laziness is a terrible thing and yet despite my laziness here I am only a couple weeks behind schedule but still here making shows for you guys :) Well I hope you enjoy the show!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if the world was filled with superheroes? Well in this anime superheroes are commonplace as people around the world learn that they each have their own unique ability. But not our main character as he is one of the unlucky ones that genetics screwed over. But that doesn't keep him down as he still dreams of one day becoming a hero...You know that wasn't a half-bad intro in my opinion. Yes that is just the vague beginning to the main series that I review this week, My Hero Academia. I also decided to review Blood Blockade Battlefront and had just as much of a harder time saying it as I did typing it just now. I will admit the review is unintentionally vague that is due in part to how long it has been since I watched the show in full.

As complete counter programming to the NBA Finals I bring out two things that really couldn't compete with it if they tried. Not to knock either one of the two features but you know that it's not going to happen. Speaking of the NBA who are you rooting for? At this point I'm indifferent but I picked Golden State, made the most sense. Gotta get a kick out of the fair-weather or band-wagoners out there I wonder if that would happen if Cleveland were to win? Nonetheless I have prattled on long enough, enjoy the show!

Time is not on my side today, ironically enough the movie I review this week covers how time is a he and is fairly indifferent to a person's problems. Have you felt it? There has been an awakening and his name is oddly enough not Apocalypse. I kid you not I don't think he his called by that name the entire movie. The stakes are ever higher in this one as our favorite mutants are pitted against each other in a battle that concerns the whole world. Which I'm pretty sure is almost every X-Men movie. And then there is Money Monster a thriller of sorts that had potential and kind of just left it lying there. Aside from those movies I bring the Box Office Report and the news. It was a little bit of catch up but I managed to do it. I hope you enjoy the show!

Tell me do you like Pina Colada's? How do you feel about buddy cop films? How would you feel if you could remember up to a certain point in your history and then could not have any new memories? I'm starting to run out of semi-relevant questions to pad out the description? Maybe I should just end every sentence with a question mark? Maybe it'll get annoying? I'm trying to think of something witty to type in here but I really don't have much this morning, sorry I didn't release this soon enough. I was pretty much trying to make time to see The Huntsman, not because I really wanted to see it but rather so I could review it. Funnily enough I kind of ended up relenting my score similar to when I reviewed Snow White and the Huntsman. If you are wondering about the song for this episode it's mostly random and just a song that I liked that I had heard on the radio. Well I think I typed enough to consider this filled out, enjoy the show!

With all of this political correctness that is going on, I feel like a person has to tip toe around saying certain things. And I feel like by being "PC" that it impedes my ability to review a movie to the best of said abilities. So if the reviews feel off that's part of the reason.

Your biggest question coming from the title is: Does the mecha in fact rise? Well I can tell you for certain this show does not answer that question. What I can answer is what exactly I did last weekend at this year's Anime Detour. If you want an explanation look no further than the beginning, if you've wanted to go to an anime convention look no further this is a great way to hear what exactly goes on from one anime fan's view. I talk about the panels I went to, things I purchased, random crap that I randomly think of...it's just a fun little recording in between. Enjoy the show!

There is a lot of anime for this round isn't there? Well it is the culmination of a couple months were of anime viewing for me, and I'm happy to release this with some older anime and some more recent. There was a Minisode that I had released sometime in 2011 that is similar to this is some respects and that is what I was aiming for here. If you are used to my episode by episode analysis I did throw that away for this show but for whichever show I decide to pick up for the next Minisode it'll likely go back to that. Enjoy the show!
